It is our belief that to serve the System and its students
well, each faculty and staff member must be aware of, and in agreement with, the
philosophy, purposes and guidelines of the System.
This manual has been prepared to provide the information
you need to perform effectively within the educational institutions and
divisions operated by The Sullivan University System. It outlines the many
benefits available to you as well as the policies and guidelines under which we
operate. The manual also provides a basis for consistency while maintaining the
flexibility required in working with the people and the programs offered by our
educational institutions. It is not intended to create an employment contract.
We reserve the right to change our policies and guidelines from time to time at
our discretion without advance notice.
At the heart of any successful educational organization are
its faculty and staff. We are proud to have you with us and ask for your
